We are seeking someone with experience in leadership or coordinating a maintenance team across weekdays, weeknights, and some weekends. This role is responsible for planning, organising, and supporting maintenance work so that jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to operations.
You will play an important part in maintaining safe, functional, and well-presented workplaces by coordinating work orders, monitoring contractor performance, supporting compliance requirements, and keeping accurate maintenance records.
Key responsibilities
Coordinate day-to-day maintenance requests, work orders, and service schedules.
Plan and support preventative maintenance activities to minimise disruption and downtime.
Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and internal team to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and on time.
Maintain accurate records, documentation, service reports, and compliance information.
Monitor job progress, follow up outstanding actions, and elevate risks or delays as required.
Support health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements across all maintenance activities.
Assist with budgeting, invoicing, purchasing, and reporting related to maintenance works.
Identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes, systems, and contractor performance.

You will be a confident coordinator who enjoys keeping people informed, solving problems, and bringing structure to busy operational environments. You will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a practical, safety-focused approach.
Skills and experience
Experience in maintenance coordination, facilities coordination, property services, trades administration, or a similar operational support role.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and deadlines.
Confidence working with contractors, service providers, and internal teams.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Sound computer skills and experience using maintenance, facilities, asset management, or job management systems.
Understanding of health and safety responsibilities in a maintenance or contractor environment.
A practical, solutions-focused mindset with strong follow-through.
