Job summary

NZTA Waka Kotahi is seeking a Facilities Coordinator in Auckland to support the Support Services Manager in maintaining high-standard office facilities across multiple sites. You will manage contractor relationships, oversee maintenance and compliance with health, safety and security standards, and travel regionally as needed.

You'll collaborate with Corporate Property, Health Safety & Wellbeing, and Security teams, provide local facilities support, and contribute to developing facilities plans

Qualifications

• Understanding of building maintenance, office operations, and supplier management.
• Experience in facilities, property, or related field; planning office moves or minor fit-outs is a plus.
• Sound knowledge of health and safety, and security practices for offices and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high-standard office environments across multiple sites.
• Oversee contractor relationships and service providers to meet agreed standards.
• Arrange orders, quotes, and track completion of work or supplies.
• Support facilities management plans and site schedules.
• Provide accurate reporting on facilities metrics.
• Collaborate with Corporate Property, Health Safety & Wellbeing, and Security teams.
