Job summary

NZ Transport Agency seeks a Facilities Coordinator to support the Support Services Manager, ensuring corporate office facilities are maintained to a high standard across multiple sites. You will manage contractors, oversee maintenance, and ensure health, safety and security compliance, with regular travel between offices in the region.

You will collaborate with NZTA Corporate Property, Health Safety & Wellbeing, and Security to oversee maintenance works, office moves, and related projects,

Qualifications

• Understanding of building maintenance, office operations, and supplier management.
• Experience in facilities, property, or related field; planning office moves or minor fit-outs is a plus.
• Knowledge of health and safety and security practices for office environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain office environments to a high standard.
• Oversee contractor activities and manage relationships with service providers.
• Initiate ordering, purchasing or quotes for work or supplies and validate completion.
• Develop facilities management plans and schedules for sites.
• Provide reporting on facilities-related metrics.
• Collaborate with NZTA Corporate Property, Health Safety & Wellbeing and Security teams.
• Support improvements to facilities management practices.
• Provide backup for other workplace support functions.
