NZTA| Waka Kotahi in Auckland is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to support the Support Services Manager. This permanent, office-based role ensures our corporate offices are maintained to a high standard and safe, productive workplaces across NZ.
You'll manage contractors, oversee maintenance, travel between regional offices, contribute to facilities plans, and provide back-up workplace support, reflecting Kotahitanga and a collaborative team culture.
We're looking for a Facilities Coordinator to provide key support to the Support Services Manager to ensure our corporate office facilities are maintained to a high standard.
Permanent role based in Auckland (for Upper North Island offices).

In this role, you'll manage contractor relationships, oversee maintenance activities, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and security standards - contributing to the smooth running of our Office. You'll work closely with our NZTA Corporate Property, Health Safety & Wellbeing, and Security partners to provide on-the-ground support and oversight for maintenance works, development projects and office moves.
You’ll provide local facilities support across multiple sites, requiring regular travel between offices in your region. As a valued team player, you’ll also provide back up Workplace support as required, reflecting our commitment to Kotahitanga - working as one.
We are seeking to appoint at a salary between $69,606 - $77,340 of the band, commensurate with skills and experience.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
You will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Māori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Māori. You will also have knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an appreciation of Te Tiriti o Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi) as it applies in the public service.
You'll be part of the Te Ama - Commercial and Corporate group, which provides essential business planning, financial, legal, and corporate services to support NZTA Waka Kotahi's performance. The Support Services Team plays a key role in enabling the organisation to operate efficiently and effectively.
