Avis Budget Group at Nelson Airport is hiring Rental Operations Agents for part-time, permanent roles. You will handle rental transactions, contracts and bookings, interact with customers, and assist in front and back of house operations.

Roles operate on shifts including Fridays, Saturdays and Mondays or Thursdays, Fridays and Mondays. Training is provided, with uniform and parking, wellbeing benefits and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Full, clean, valid Class 1 driver’s licence is essential.
• Previous experience within retail, hospitality or customer service is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Comfortable learning and using computer systems to input rental information (training provided).
• Ability to follow procedures and adhere to company guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers at the counter and promote products and services.
• Complete rental transactions, contracts and bookings.
• Inspect vehicles for damages and maintenance issues, drive and park cars.
• Clean vehicles inside and out in the wash bay to ready them for customers.

We Operate 7 Days a Week, From 7 Am To 10 Pm Each Day. We Are Looking For People Who Can Work One Of The Two Shifts

• 3 x 8 hour shifts working on a Friday, Saturday and Monday of each week.
• 3 x 8 hour shifts working on a Thursday, Friday and Monday of each week.

About The Role

As what we call a Rental Operations Agent you will be involved in all aspects of our business! This varied role covers both our front and back of house operations. On the counter you will be interacting with our customers, marketing products and services, completing rental transactions, contracts, and bookings.

On the other hand, you will be inspecting vehicles for damages and maintenance issues, driving, and parking our cars as well as cleaning vehicles (interior and exterior) in the wash bay so they are ready for our customers.
