Avis Budget Group is seeking Rental Operations Agent at the Auckland Airport branch for a busy peak period. You will handle front- and back-of-house tasks, including customer interactions, rental contracts, and bookings, and ensure vehicles are clean and ready for customers.

Experience in retail or hospitality is valued; a full clean class 1 driving licence is essential. Training will be provided, with 10:30–19:00 shifts, weekends, and 5 x 8-hour slots across the week.

Qualifications

• Full, clean, valid class 1 driver’s licence required.
• Previous experience within retail, hospitality, customer service or similar roles preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Comfortable learning and using various computer systems to input rental information (training provided).
• Ability to follow procedures and adhere to company guidelines and standards.

We are gearing up for our peak season and have multiple full-time, fixed-term positions available until the end of March 2026.

Based at our Apex Car Rental Auckland Airport Branch, we are search for someone with exceptional customer services and isn't afraid of hard work.

• Full-Time (40-Hours per week) working 10.30 - 19.00 shifts with weekend work
• Fixed Term (until end of March 2026)

We work 7-days per week and we are looking to fill 5 x 8 hour shifts working 10:30 am till 7 pm which will include weekend and public holidays as required.

About The Role

As what we call a Rental Operations Agent you will be involved in all aspects of our business! This varied role covers both our front and back of house operations. On the counter you will be interacting with our customers, marketing products and services, completing rental transactions, contracts, and bookings.

On the other hand, you will be inspecting vehicles for damages and maintenance issues, driving, and parking our cars as well as cleaning vehicles (interior and exterior) in the wash bay so they are ready for our customers.

What We Are Looking For

• Full, clean, valid class 1 driver's licence is essential for this role.
• Previous experience within retail, hospitality, customer service or similar roles
