Avis Budget Group at Auckland Airport is seeking an entry-level Vehicle Prep Associate to ensure vehicles are clean and ready for customers. You will be trained on our processes and play a key role in maintaining high standards.

This 40-hour-per-week role operates on a rotating roster, including early mornings and weekends. Parking is provided, and the team offers a supportive, global environment that supports career growth.

Qualifications

• Full, clean, valid class 1 driver’s licence essential.
• Experience in a hands-on or physical labour role.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in all weather.
• Ability to follow procedures and company guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicle interior and exterior by cleaning, washing and vacuuming.
• Assess vehicles for potential damages and report per procedure.
• Record gas levels, kilometres, and inputs on handheld devices.
• Refuel gas tanks, check fluid levels, tyres and tread depth.

About the Role

Auckland Airport based Entry level position with training provided Parking provided Supportive, friendly and caring culture.

Full-Time (working 40-hours per week), Fixed-Term (until the end of March 2026) position available.

As a key component to our operations, you will be responsible for checking and preparing our vehicles to ensure they are in the best condition possible for our customers.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing the interior and exterior of our vehicles by cleaning, washing, and vacuuming all returned vehicles
• Assessing vehicle for any potential new damages and report it as per our vehicle damage procedure.
• Reviewing returned vehicle gas levels and car kilometres and accurately inputting them into our hand-held devices as required
• Refuelling gas tanks, checking fluid levels and tyre conditions along with pressure and tread depth.

What we are looking for:

• Full, clean, valid class 1 driver’s licence is essential for this role.
• Previous experience in a hands‑on or physical labouring role
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment in all weather conditions delivering a high standard of work.
• Ability to follow procedures and adhere to company guidelines and standards.

As we operate 7 days a week, you will be required to work 40 hours per week as per our rotating roster which could see you working early mornings from 06.15, afternoons, nights until 19:30 and will include weekends and public holiday work as required.
