Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is seeking a Clinical Administration Support for a 12-month fixed-term position at Nelson Hospital. You will deliver administrative and secretarial support to clinicians, coordinate the patient journey, and maintain patient records with strict confidentiality.
The role operates Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 80 hours per fortnight, and is suitable for candidates eligible to work in New Zealand or with a valid NZ visa.

About the Role
As Clinical Secretarial Support, you will provide high-quality administrative and secretarial support to consultants and clinical teams. You will be responsible for managing clinical correspondence, coordinating appointments, maintaining accurate patient records, and supporting the patient journey from referral through to treatment and follow-up care.
This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
It is a Fixed Term, full time role for up to 12 months covering maternity leave working 80 hours per fortnight (1.0 FTE), Monday to Friday. Hours are between 7.00AM to 5.00PM which will be discussed with the successful candidate.

About you
As Clinical Administration Support, you will:
Knowledge of medical terminology would be an advantage, but is not essential.
The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ visa at the time of applying.
