Summerset - Care in Hawke's Bay is seeking a compassionate caregiver for the Summerset in the Vines Village. You will join a team dedicated to delivering safe, healthy, and enjoyable lifestyles for residents, with duties centered on personal care and daily living support.

Typical tasks include helping with meals, hygiene, and activities while supporting individualized care plans. This casual, on-demand role offers varied shifts and opportunities to grow within a values-driven organisation.

Job Description

As a Caregiver at our Summerset in the Vines Village, you will work as part of a team that creates the safest, healthiest and most enjoyable lifestyle for our residents. This role is varied and centres around providing personal care and assistance to our resident’s daily lives.

Typical duties include:

• Delivering meals and helping with mealtimes
• Aiding with hygiene, such as showering
• Assisting with Individual care plan requirements, such as walks and exercises
• Helping with activities, such as puzzles, table tennis etc

This is a Casual role. Working on an as and when needed basis

Qualifications

You will naturally be empathetic, kind and patient, and thrive in a role where your compassion and care make a difference to people’s lives.

You’ll bring with you:

• Experience in aged care or a similar role
• Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships
• Commitmentto being available for a variety of shifts, sometimes at short notice
