Job summary

Summerset Richmond Village is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to join our team. You will provide personal care and daily living support to residents, as part of a friendly, patient-centered team.

This casual role involves assisting with meals, hygiene, mobility, and activities, with shifts offered on an as-needed basis. We value communication, reliability and a dedication to the wellbeing and dignity of every resident.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver meals and assist with mealtimes
• Aiding with hygiene and showering
• Assisting with individual care plan requirements (e.g., walks, exercises)
• Helping with activities (e.g., puzzles, table tennis)

Job Description

As a Caregiver at our Richmond Village you will work as part of a team that creates the safest, healthiest and most enjoyable lifestyle for our residents. This role is varied and centres around providing personal care and assistance to our resident’s daily lives.

Typical Duties Include

• Delivering meals and helping with mealtimes
• Aiding with hygiene, such as showering
• Assisting with Individual care plan requirements, such as walks and exercises
• Helping with activities, such as puzzles, table tennis etc

Qualifications

This is a Casual role. Working on an as and when needed basis

You’ll Bring With You

• Experience in aged care or a similar role
• Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships
• Commitment to being available for a variety of shifts, sometimes at short notice
