Job summary

New Zealand Avis Rent A Car Limited in Queenstown, Otago, is seeking a Branch Supervisor to support the Branch Manager. You will oversee daily operations, supervise the team, process rental transactions, and ensure vehicles are groomed and ready for service.

You will train and coach colleagues, handle customer concerns, assist with shift scheduling and reporting, and promote a positive customer experience across 7 days.

Qualifications

• Management or leadership experience is preferred, with a track record of coaching and developing team members.
• Ability to solve problems and exercise good judgement in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience handling customer complaints and negotiating outcomes.
• Strong planning, organisation and multitasking skills; able to learn new systems quickly.
• Current and Full NZ Driver's Licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Branch Manager with supervision of all operational functions.
• Provide a superior level of customer service by processing rental transactions.
• Coordinate daily team activities and train, coach and direct staff as needed.
• Report noncompliance with policies and procedures to management.
• Assist with preparing shift schedules and management reports.
