Job summary

New Zealand Avis Rent A Car Limited in Greymouth is hiring a Branch Supervisor to lead daily operations, supervise staff and ensure top-level customer service. You will handle bookings, assist customers at the counter, and coordinate vehicle readiness with attention to detail and safety.

The role involves training and coaching team members, scheduling shifts, and reporting to the Branch Manager. A full NZ driver's licence and a proactive attitude are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Previous managerial and/or leadership experience with proven experience in coaching and developing team members, delivering feedback, and managing performance of team members.
• Demonstrated ability to exercise judgement, problem solve and show initiative.
• Experience in complaints handling, conflict resolution and negotiation.
• Possesses competent planning and organisation skills and can multitask.
• Ability to competently use Microsoft office suite and learn new systems and software quickly and efficiently.
• Current and Full NZ Drivers Licence.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers at the rental counter and complete bookings.
• Lead and supervise daily operations and coordinate the team.
• Inspect vehicles for damages, refuel and assist with interior/exterior cleaning.
• Prepare shift schedules and reports in collaboration with Branch Manager.
• Provide a high level of customer service to ensure a positive experience.
