Job summary

Apex Car Rentals Wellington Airport is seeking a Branch Supervisor to lead a small team and deliver exceptional customer service at the rental counter. You will supervise daily operations, coordinate staff rosters and reports, and ensure vehicles are clean, fueled and prepared for guests.

This permanent role requires prior managerial experience, strong problem solving, and the ability to train and motivate staff. 40-hour week with weekend shifts and a competitive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Previous managerial and/or leadership experience with coaching and developing team members.
• Experience in complaints handling, conflict resolution and negotiation.
• Demonstrated ability to exercise judgement, problem solve and show initiative.
• Competent planning and organisation skills and can multitask.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office and learn new systems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily operations at the rental counter.
• Train, coach and direct the team; prepare shift schedules and reports.
• Interact with customers, complete bookings and respond to inquiries.
• Inspect vehicles for damages, refuel and assist with cleaning to ensure quality.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
