Job summary

Halter is seeking a Territory Manager for a 12-month maternity cover based in South Canterbury, NZ. You’ll drive growth and ensure customer success across beef-industry customers, executing sales strategies and building lasting relationships while representing Halter on the ground.

You’ll collaborate with Product, Support and regional sales teams, travel regularly within your territory, and help Halter scale its mission to make farming more productive and sustainable.

Qualifications

• Value-based sales experience with a track record of creating opportunities and closing deals.
• Passion for beef operations and willingness to learn the farming context rapidly.
• Strong ownership mindset with ability to travel regularly within the territory.
• Collaborative attitude and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting, expansion and end-to-end pipeline management from lead to close.
• Hit high-growth sales targets while ensuring long-term customer success.
• Manage customer accounts post-sale and support onboarding and deployment.
• Own territory relationships with regional agricultural groups and stakeholders.
• Gather field insights and collaborate with Support, Product and R&D for improvements.
