Job summary

IconicAI in Auckland is seeking a Business Development Manager to own new business across ANZ. You’ll turn conversations into scoped, signed engagements by acting as a trusted advisor rather than a cold caller.

You’ll build pipeline across mid-market to enterprise, lead discovery with our tech team, and sell the full AI offer including training, diagnostics, and SaaS. The role offers a base salary plus commission and a chance to shape our sales engine.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in B2B sales or business development.
• Strong NZ business network (Australia a plus).
• Experience selling services or technology.
• Comfort leading C-suite conversations and consultative selling.

Responsibilities

• Build and run a qualified pipeline across NZ and Australia.
• Lead discovery conversations and shape solutions with the tech team.
• Sell across the full AI offer: training, diagnostics, custom builds and SaaS products.
• Turn discovery into proposals and close.
• Represent IconicAI at industry events and with partners.
• Work referral partners as a lead channel.
• Keep CRM clean and forecast accurate.
