Job summary

Southern Cross Health Insurance in Auckland seeks an experienced software engineer to modernize core platforms, migrating on-prem services to scalable cloud-native Azure architectures. You will build and integrate shared services such as Identity Platform, API Gateway, and Domain APIs, and contribute to enterprise integration initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proven software engineering experience with C#, .NET, and modern front-end frameworks.
• Strong experience with Azure cloud services and API management.
• Familiarity with AI coding assistants and modern development tools.

Responsibilities

• Modernize Core Platforms: migrate legacy on-prem services to cloud-native Azure architectures.
• Build, integrate and operate shared services like Identity Platform, API Gateway, and Domain APIs.
• Deliver migration initiatives including BizTalk to AIS/Logic Apps transformations.
• Leverage AI-assisted engineering to accelerate delivery and testing.
• Automate CI/CD pipelines and ensure robust deployment and configuration management.
• Investigate, diagnose, and resolve issues across distributed services.
