As a Software Engineer in our Integration Platforms team, you will be at the heart of our technical transformation. Our team builds, modernises, and operates the core foundational products, including the Identity Platform, API Gateways, Domain APIs, Shared Services, and Internal Integration Systems, that power the work of our entire internal engineering community.
Collaborating closely with Senior and Principal Engineers, you will bridge our proven on-premises foundations with modern, cloud-native capabilities on Microsoft Azure. You won’t just maintain the lights; you’ll play an active role in high-impact initiatives like implementing enterprise API Management (APIM) and migrating mission‑critical integration workloads from legacy BizTalk to Azure Integration Services (AIS). It’s a fast‑paced, collaborative environment where your ability to take ownership, solve problems independently, and champion engineering best practices will directly impact developer velocity and platform reliability across the organization.
Modernize Core Platforms: Partner with senior engineers to transition legacy on‑prem services into modern, scalable, cloud‑native architectures on Microsoft Azure.
Build & Integrate Shared Services: Develop, maintain, and operate key platform capabilities, including our Identity Platform, API Gateway (APIM), Domain APIs, and enterprise integration systems.
Deliver Migration Initiatives: Actively contribute to high‑priority platform migrations, including transitioning legacy BizTalk integrations to Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management). Ensuring solutions are implemented in accordance with approved architecture designs, enterprise standards, and security requirements.
Leverage AI‑Assisted Engineering: Actively use modern AI coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) in your daily workflow to accelerate delivery, draft boilerplate, generate unit tests, and refactor code efficiently.
Automate & Streamline Delivery: Build and support robust CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless, automated deployments, configuration management, and high platform availability.
Independent Troubleshooting: Investigate, diagnose, and resolve technical issues across distributed services, ensuring operational stability and minimal downtime for internal squads.
AI‑First Mindset: Strong familiarity with AI coding assistants (such as GitHub / Microsoft Copilot, Claude Code, or Codex) and a proactive habit of integrating them into your day‑to‑day development lifecycle to boost velocity.
Cloud & Integration Skills: Hands‑on experience or strong familiarity with Microsoft Azure services, particularly Logic Apps, Azure API Management (APIM), and cloud integration patterns.
DevOps Mindset: Practical experience working with automated CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions) and modern deployment practices.
Problem‑Solving Ability: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the initiative to dig into complex technical issues and resolve them independently.
Bonus Points: Prior hands‑on experience migrating legacy Microsoft BizTalk environments to Azure Integration Services (AIS) or managing enterprise API Gateways.
