Job summary

Southern Cross Health Society in Auckland is seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer to design, build and support enterprise-grade Azure solutions, improving automation and self-service to deliver real operational impact. You will help maintain a scalable, secure cloud estate as part of the insourcing strategy.

This hands-on role covers design, implementation, monitoring and optimisation of Azure infrastructure, with a focus on cost-efficiency, reliability and collaboration with cross-functional teams

Qualifications

Deep Azure expertise for enterprise-grade solutions.
IaC experience with Terraform, Ansible or Pulumi.
Strong networking, security and monitoring knowledge in Azure.

Responsibilities

Design scalable, secure Azure cloud solutions.
Manage and monitor Azure infrastructure for performance and cost-efficiency.
Collaborate on platform features and improvements.
Enhance self-service through automation and standardisation.
Troubleshoot platform issues and perform root-cause analysis.
Maintain up-to-date platform documentation.
