Job summary

The Reserve Bank of New Zealand is seeking a Property Assets Administrator to join our Auckland office on a fixed-term basis until June 2027. The role blends customer service, workplace operations and property administration to ensure a safe, welcoming and highly functional workspace for staff and visitors.

You will coordinate contractors, manage health and safety activities and support property projects and reporting, while building strong relationships across the Bank.

Qualifications

• Experience in busy administration, facilities, property, workplace, or operations.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with suppliers, contractors, or service providers.
• Understanding of health and safety practices or willingness to develop knowledge.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and managing information and records.
• Proactive approach and initiative; willing to pitch in wherever needed.
• Knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and commitment to inclusive workplace.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional front-of-house experience for visitors, contractors and staff.
• Support operation of Auckland workspace, meeting rooms, event spaces and shared facilities.
• Coordinate suppliers, contractors, maintenance requests and property services.
• Support health and safety activities, contractor management and building compliance.
• Assist with property projects, contract administration, reporting and workspace improvements.
• Build strong relationships across the Bank and provide outstanding customer service.
