Job summary

CTS Group in Oslo is seeking an experienced Mechanical Manager to lead mechanical systems delivery on a major data centre project. You will manage installation through commissioning, ensure safety, schedule, budget, and quality, while coordinating with subcontractors and stakeholders.

You will provide leadership to site teams, oversee HVAC, piping, cooling, and plant systems, and drive successful turnover with complete documentation and handover packages for a mission-critical facility.

Qualifications

• Degree or Higher National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 8–10 years of experience delivering mechanical systems on large-scale construction projects.
• Experience in industrial, pharmaceutical, mission-critical, energy, or data centre projects is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage all mechanical construction activities across assigned project areas.
• Oversee installation of HVAC, chilled water, pipework, drainage, insulation and associated systems.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, electrical, and commissioning teams to ensure efficient project execution.
• Support commissioning planning and handover activities.
• Lead inspections, snagging, and quality reviews.
• Promote safety and environmental performance on site.
