Job summary

CTS Group in Vennesla, Norway, seeks an experienced Mechanical Package Manager to own the mechanical package from installation through commissioning and handover on a major data centre project. You will coordinate subcontractors, manage interfaces, monitor progress and safeguard safety and quality throughout the delivery lifecycle.

The role demands leadership, strong technical knowledge of HVAC and mechanical systems, and the ability to drive performance in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years of mechanical management experience on large-scale projects is preferred.
• Experience delivering complex mechanical packages in mission-critical environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the mechanical design and delivery from installation through commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate subcontractors, manage interfaces, monitor progress and drive on-time delivery.
• Lead inspections to verify installations meet project specs and ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Provide technical leadership to resolve construction and commissioning issues and approve designs.
• Maintain a safety-focused site culture, stop works when safety concerns arise and implement corrective actions.
