Job summary

Rambøll in Norway seeks a Senior HV Technical Scope Manager to lead multidisciplinary teams delivering high-voltage design and engineering solutions. You will act as a primary client interface, manage scope, and oversee tendering and stakeholder relations across borders.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in electrical engineering or related field.
• Extensive experience in HV/EHV substation or overhead line design, specification and project execution.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to collaborate across countries and disciplines.
• Strong understanding of electrical transmission system design, SCADA, protection, HV cables, and interfaces to other systems.
• Experience in client-facing roles with a track record of delivering value.
• Proficiency in Norwegian and English (written and spoken).
• Project management certification (e.g., PMI) is an advantage.
• Commitment to mentoring and knowledge sharing; supporting colleagues' growth.
• Dedication to sustainability and Net Zero goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary project teams, including local and global experts, to deliver HV design and engineering solutions.
• Act as key client interface, ensuring clear scope understanding and safeguarding client interests.
• Oversee tendering activities, contract negotiations and stakeholder management.
• Coordinate with other business areas to ensure integrated, cost-effective solutions.
• Manage technical and commercial aspects of projects, ensuring schedules and budgets are met.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers across borders.
• Support site and field activities, including follow-up and quality assurance.
