Job summary

Rambøll in Trondheim seeks a senior HV Technical Scope Manager to lead multidisciplinary teams on HV/EHV substation and overhead line design, delivering high-quality engineering solutions for global clients.

You will drive scope, schedules and budgets, mentor engineers across borders, and maintain strong client relationships while coordinating with other groups to ensure integrated, cost-effective outcomes in a sustainable energy future.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in electrical engineering or related field.
• Extensive HV/EHV substation or overhead line design experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in Norwegian and English, written and spoken.
• Willingness to mentor and develop colleagues.
• Willingness to collaborate across borders and disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary project teams to deliver HV design and engineering solutions.
• Serve as key client interface, ensuring clear scope understanding and long-term partnerships.
• Oversee tendering, contract negotiations, and stakeholder management.
• Coordinate with buildings, transport, environment, and other areas for integrated solutions.
• Manage technical and commercial aspects, aligning with schedules and budgets.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers across borders.
• Support site and field activities including follow-up and QA.
