Job summary

Rambøll Norway is seeking a highly experienced HV Technical Scope Manager to lead multidisciplinary teams delivering high voltage design for substations and overhead lines. You will act as a key client interface, safeguard client interests, and drive long-term partnerships across borders within a global Power Systems team.

You will mentor engineers, coordinate tendering and contract negotiations, and align technical and commercial delivery with project schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in electrical engineering or related field.
• Extensive HV/EHV substation or overhead line design experience.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Norwegian and English.
• PM certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary project teams to deliver HV design and engineering solutions.
• Act as key client interface—ensuring clear scope understanding and building long-term partnerships.
• Oversee tendering activities, contract negotiations, and stakeholder management.
• Coordinate with other business areas to ensure integrated, cost-effective solutions.
• Manage technical and commercial aspects of projects—schedules and budgets.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers across borders.
• Support site and field activities, including QA.
