Job summary

Ramboll in Norway seeks an HV Technical Scope Manager to lead the local Power Systems team and collaborate with global experts on HV design and engineering solutions. The role focuses on delivering high-quality projects, mentoring engineers, and building lasting client relationships.

The position requires extensive HV/EHV experience, leadership, and strong communication in Norwegian and English. Flexible working conditions include remote options and international assignments.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in electrical engineering or related field.
• Extensive HV/EHV substation or overhead line design experience.
• Demonstrated leadership and client-facing skills across countries and disciplines.
• Strong understanding of transmission systems, protection, HV cables and interfaces.
• PM certification is an advantage but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary project teams across local and global experts to deliver HV design and engineering solutions.
• Serve as key client interface, ensuring scope clarity and safeguarding client interests.
• Oversee tendering, contract negotiations and stakeholder management.
• Coordinate across buildings, transport and environment for integrated solutions.
• Manage technical and commercial aspects, align with schedules and budgets.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster cross-border collaboration.
• Support site activities, including follow-up and quality assurance.
