Rambøll in Norway seeks a senior HV Technical Scope Manager to lead multidisciplinary teams delivering HV design and engineering solutions. You will act as a key client interface, safeguarding interests and building long-term partnerships while coordinating with global experts.

The role requires extensive HV/EHV substation or overhead line experience, strong leadership, and the ability to work across countries and disciplines in a dynamic, client-facing environment.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in electrical engineering or related field.
• Extensive experience in HV/EHV substation or overhead line design, specification, and project execution.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills; ability to collaborate across countries and disciplines.
• Proficiency in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
• Project management certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Leading multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high-quality HV design and engineering solutions.
• Acting as a key client interface, ensuring scope clarity and safeguarding client interests.
• Overseeing tendering activities, contract negotiations, and stakeholder management.
• Coordinating with other business areas to ensure integrated, cost-effective solutions.
• Managing technical and commercial aspects of projects while aligning with schedules and budgets.
• Mentoring and developing junior engineers across borders.
• Supporting site and field activities, including follow-up and quality assurance.
