Job summary

IKM Gruppen AS is seeking an experienced procurement professional to lead cost-efficient purchasing and contract management in Stavanger. The role focuses on alignment with internal/ external requirements, supplier follow-up, and ERP documentation to support daily operations and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, 10+ years of relevant experience, SAP proficiency, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience delivering procurement activities in line with company requirements.
• Experience working with SAP and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cost-efficient procurement supporting daily operations.
• Maintain documentation consistent with company requirements in contract management and ERP systems.
• Coordinate alignment with internal and external requirements.
• Monitor deliveries and follow up as needed.
• Expedite requests, issue POs and call-offs within established contracts.
• Conduct market intelligence and assess local/regional supplier movements.
• Request RFQs, evaluate bid proposals, and negotiate terms.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods, including expediting where necessary.
• Contribute to data quality in material master and assist in implementing new masters.
• Support continuous improvement of procurement processes.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external guidelines and controls.

Main Accountabilities

• Ensure cost efficient procurement supporting the operations in daily needs
• Ensure documentation consistent with company requirements in both contract management system as well as ERP system
• Ensure alignment with internal and external requirements
• Follow up on deliveries

Main Tasks

• Expedite requests and issue purchase orders and call-offs and ensure correct use of established contracts
• Seek market intelligence and maintain knowledge of local and regional market movements and new suppliers
• Secure competition and issue RFQ's, evaluate bid proposals and negotiate
• Ensure timely delivery of goods including expediting
• Contribute in material master efforts related to improvement of existing data and implementation of new material masters
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the procurement processes
• Ensure all work associated with the execution and management is in compliance with internal and external guidelines and established control

Qualifications
