Job summary

IKM Gruppen AS is seeking an experienced procurement professional to lead cost-efficient purchasing and contract management in Stavanger. The role focuses on alignment with internal/ external requirements, supplier follow-up, and ERP documentation to support daily operations and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, 10+ years of relevant experience, SAP proficiency, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
Experience delivering procurement activities in line with company requirements.
Experience working with SAP and ERP systems.
Fluent written and spoken English.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Systematic and analytical mindset; proactive problem-solver.

Responsibilities

Ensure cost-efficient procurement supporting daily operations.
Maintain documentation consistent with company requirements in contract management and ERP systems.
Coordinate alignment with internal and external requirements.
Monitor deliveries and follow up as needed.
Expedite requests, issue POs and call-offs within established contracts.
Conduct market intelligence and assess local/regional supplier movements.
Request RFQs, evaluate bid proposals, and negotiate terms.
Ensure timely delivery of goods, including expediting where necessary.
Contribute to data quality in material master and assist in implementing new masters.
Support continuous improvement of procurement processes.
Ensure compliance with internal and external guidelines and controls.
