Job summary

Accenture Construct is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor – Enabling Works to support the delivery of a major data centre development in Stavanger, Norway. This full-time on-site role requires a consistent daily presence during enabling works and blasting, with a focus on safety, compliance and accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Previous site supervision or inspection experience within major construction, civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Strong experience of enabling works, earthworks, groundworks, blasting or heavy civil construction.
• A strong understanding of site safety, permit compliance and construction quality requirements.
• Experience carrying out site inspections and maintaining detailed progress and compliance records.
• Confidence identifying and escalating non-conformances or unsafe working practices.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with contractors and project stakeholders.
• A practical, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work full-time on site in Stavanger.
• Experience on data centres, mission-critical developments or other large-scale capital projects would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a consistent daily presence on site throughout the enabling works and blasting activities.
• Carry out daily site inspections and maintain accurate progress records.
• Monitor the progress of enabling works against agreed requirements and planned activities.
• Review relevant monitoring results and check compliance with permits and project requirements.
• Record site quantities, progress and key observations for the project team.
• Identify, document and follow up on non-conformances with the relevant delivery contractor.
• Escalate safety, quality, compliance or delivery concerns to the Enabling Works and Blasting Manager.
• Maintain clear and accurate site records to provide visibility of work completed and current site conditions.
• Exercise stop-work authority where required due to safety, compliance or significant project concerns.
• Work closely with the Enabling Works and Blasting Manager and wider project team to maintain effective oversight of activities on site.
