Accenture Construct is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the client-side delivery of a 216MW hyperscale data centre campus in Stavanger, Norway. You will mobilise, coordinate CSA, MEP, planning, commissioning and handover, ensuring safety, schedule and quality from mobilisation through final handover.

• Fluency in Norwegian and English is essential.
• Experience handing over facilities to hyperscale operators.
• Knowledge of FIDIC or NS 8407 contracts.
• Exposure to MEP and commissioning activities.
• Experience leading blended teams including partner staff.

The Opportunity

Accenture Construct is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the client-side delivery of a major building within a 216MW hyperscale data centre campus in Stavanger, Norway.

Taking accountability from mobilisation through to final handover, you will lead a multidisciplinary delivery team across CSA, MEP, project controls, commissioning and handover, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall client-side leadership and accountability for the building from mobilisation through to handover.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams across CSA, MEP, planning, commissioning and completions.
• Drive HSE performance and provide assurance of the principal contractor’s safety performance.
• Own the client-side programme, protecting key milestones and challenging recovery plans where required.
• Oversee quality performance and ensure non-conformances are effectively managed and closed.
• Manage key interfaces across design, equipment delivery, commissioning, logistics and power.
• Manage project risks, change, instructions and escalations within delegated authority.
• Lead reporting, readiness reviews, floor acceptance and final handover.

Ideally you will bring:

• Experience as a Project Manager or Project Director delivering a 30MW+ data centre building through to handover.
• Proven experience managing a main or principal contractor on a major construction programme.
• Strong understanding of Norwegian building and construction regulations.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong programme, quality, HSE and stakeholder-management capabilities.
• Professional fluency in Norwegian and English.
• Experience handing over facilities to a hyperscale operator or tenant.
• Knowledge of FIDIC or NS 8407 contracts.
• Strong exposure to MEP and commissioning.
• Experience leading blended teams, including partner staff and rotational resources.
