Job summary

NOBA Bank Group is seeking a German-speaking Fraud & Chargeback Officer to help identify, investigate, and prevent fraud. You will review applications and transactions to identify suspicious patterns and take action, handling credit card fraud, unauthorized transactions, and customer disputes.

You will collect and analyze data, document cases, communicate with customers with empathy, and assist authorities with clear summaries while collaborating with banks to strengthen fraud prevention.

Qualifications

• Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written.
• Strong analytical skills with pattern recognition ability.
• Structured, quality-conscious, and capable of handling multiple tasks.
• Experience in fraud investigations, disputes, or AML is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify, investigate, and prevent fraud by reviewing applications and transactions.
• Handle credit card fraud, unauthorized transactions, and customer disputes.
• Collect and analyze data, document cases accurately and thoroughly.
• Communicate with customers with empathy and professionalism.
• Provide complete documentation to police and authorities, and summaries to lawyers and courts.
• Contribute to fraud rule development and share insights to strengthen internal knowledge.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders, including other banks, to prevent fraud.
