Qualifications

We are in search of an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a prestigious international restaurant in Oslo Norway.

Responsibilities

• Develop and create menus that showcase international cuisine and reflect current food trends
• Oversee the preparation and cooking of all dishes ensuring they meet high standards of quality and presentation
• Manage inventory levels and control costs to ensure profitability
• Train supervise and mentor kitchen staff to maintain consistency and excellence in food preparation
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
• Collaborate with management to plan special events and promotions

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant or hotel
• Extensive knowledge of international cuisine with a focus on European or Scandinavian dishes
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with staff management and guests
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Current work permit for Norway visa sponsorship available
• Availability for immediate start
