Job summary

PrimeEstate is seeking an Executive Chef to lead our luxury restaurant in Oslo. You will oversee kitchen operations, craft unique culinary experiences, and mentor a high-performing team in a fast-paced fine dining setting.

The ideal candidate has proven leadership in fine dining, a culinary degree, and fluency in English, with strong skills in menu development and high culinary standards. This role offers growth opportunities within our global company.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment.
Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred.
Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients and kitchen equipment.
Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Fluent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and create new menu items that align with the restaurants concept and standards.
Oversee all aspects of food preparation ensuring high quality and consistency.
Train and lead kitchen staff providing guidance and support to maintain a positive work environment.
Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies and ingredients as needed.
Maintain food safety and sanitation standards according to local regulations.
Collaborate with management to develop seasonal menus and special event menus.
