Job summary

If Commercial in Norway is seeking a Coastal Hull Underwriter to join the Nordic Marine team. You will build a portfolio of coastal hull business for commercial customers, balance risk, price, and profitability, and collaborate with brokers, customers, and colleagues across Norway and the Nordic region.

You will assess exposures, determine pricing, negotiate terms, and support sales while contributing to portfolio performance and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of coastal hull insurance products and risk assessment.
• Ability to analyse complex risk information and portfolio impact.
• Excellent communication with customers, brokers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Assess coastal hull risks for commercial customers.
• Evaluate risk exposures at customer and portfolio level.
• Determine pricing based on risk and expected loss outcomes.
• Negotiate terms with customers and brokers.
• Support sales and service teams in developing coastal hull business.
• Contribute to portfolio profitability and performance management.
• Support loss prevention and risk improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Marine and Commercial teams across the Nordic region.
