Job summary

Norway’s Best Group AS (NBG) is expanding its Narvik dining concept as part of its growth across Basecamp, Fjellheisrestauranten and a new restaurant at Basecamp. We are building a new kitchen team from the ground up and seek chefs who want to help develop menus and food concepts from the start.

You will collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality, locally sourced dishes, from quick bites to fine dining, while maintaining professional standards and minimizing waste.

Qualifications

• Experience in a professional kitchen.
• Be part of developing menus across restaurants and dining venues.
• Formal qualification as a chef is an advantage, but practical skills are valued.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present food to a consistently high standard.
• Prepare and organise your work to keep kitchen operations running smoothly.
• Handle ingredients with care and help reduce food waste.
• Work closely with colleagues in the kitchen and restaurant.
• Share ideas and contribute to developing our menus.
