Norway’s Best Group is hiring waiters to enhance dining experiences at Narvikfjellet and its associated venues. You’ll welcome guests, take orders, and collaborate with the kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth, high-quality service.
English and Norwegian language skills are required, with additional Scandinavian languages a benefit. The role supports a dynamic, seasonal tourism environment and the goal of memorable guest visits.
One guest stops by for something warm after a cold day outdoors. Another has been looking forward to a long, relaxed dinner. As a waiter, you help make both experiences enjoyable – with service that suits the setting and the moment.
We are developing the dining experiences at Basecamp and Fjellheisrestauranten, with a new restaurant at Basecamp also on the way. We are now looking for waiters who enjoy working with people, being part of a team and having variety in their working day.
About the role
You will welcome guests, serve food and drinks and help make their visit enjoyable from start to finish. You will notice what guests need and adapt your service – from a quick, friendly recommendation to more personal attention throughout a meal. You will join a team that shares knowledge, supports each other and continually improves the way we welcome and serve our guests.
Your key responsibilities
Who are we looking for?
You enjoy meeting people and pay attention to what guests need. You take initiative, work well with others and stay calm when things get busy. Restaurant service experience is an advantage, but experience from other service roles and a willingness to learn are also a good starting point.
You must be able to communicate well with guests and colleagues in English and in Norwegian or another Scandinavian language. Additional language skills are an advantage.
Be part of Narvikfjellet’s next chapter
There is plenty ahead for Narvik as we prepare for the 2029 Alpine World Ski Championships. The championships are an important milestone, and our ambition is to create a destination that guests want to visit throughout the year.
You will help shape our dining experiences as we grow. As part of Norway’s best group, you will also join a wider community of hospitality professionals, with colleagues across several destinations.
Would you like to give our guests a reason to return? We would love to hear from you.
