Job summary

This Amsterdam-based client is seeking a Customer Service Specialist who excels at building strong relationships and delivering effective solutions with a positive, professional attitude. You will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring high-quality support and guidance on technical issues, tax questions, and general requests.

Responsibilities include handling calls, emails and chats; logging interactions; maintaining the customer database; and proactively identifying opportunities

Qualifications

• At least a few years of experience in a similar customer service or support role.
• Strong technical affinity: able to analyse technical issues and explain them clearly.
• Ability to resolve customer queries according to established standards and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Dutch or French (spoken and written).
• Good command of English.
• Organised, service-oriented, and detail-focused.

Responsibilities

• Handle a high volume of incoming calls, emails, and chat requests in line with company standards.
• Provide support and appropriate solutions to customers regarding technical issues, tax regulations, privacy policies, and system functionality.
• Accurately log customer interactions.
• Maintain and update the company database.
• Demonstrate strong customer focus by consistently going the extra mile.
• Enhance customer communication by adding value and proactively identifying opportunities or leads.
