Job summary

Thinkproject, Amsterdam, is seeking a dedicated PreSales consultant to identify customer opportunities, define compelling use cases, and demonstrate how Thinkproject software addresses their needs. You will become an expert in Thinkproject functions such as CDE and Contracts, and present the solution in a customer-centric way to both Enterprise and Invest Accounts.

In this role you will support sales through demonstrations, RFI/RFP responses, and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years proven experience in a similar role.
• Degree in Engineering, IT, Architecture or comparable.
• Communication skills are essential.
• Consultancy and business assessment expertise required.

Responsibilities

• Work on new or existing account opportunities either independently with a transactional product sell or as part of a team with a solution sell.
• Help Sales achieve their goals for new revenue by offering technical expertise in all phases of the opportunity lifecycle.
• Work according to the PreSales process: discover business pains on initial conversations, deliver value-based conversations on client pitch calls using demos and presentations.
• Define product/solution scope to ensure an effective transition to implementation teams.
• Develop presales knowledge base by building and managing collateral such as use cases, demo material, storyboards, and video messages.
• Assess and respond to RFI’s/RFP’s from a technical point of view.
• Detect new business opportunities with existing customers.
• Give structured feedback to the product and development teams.
