Job summary

SoftwareOne is seeking a Pre-Sales Consultant in Amsterdam to partner with Sales and customers, shape opportunities from early discovery through to proposal, ensuring each engagement is clearly scoped, deliverable, and outcome-led.

You will serve as a subject matter expert across ITAM, FinOps, and software sourcing, translating requirements into solutions, producing estimates and customer-ready SOWs, and spotting cross-sell or upsell opportunities.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of ITAM principles including asset lifecycle and governance.
• Ability to apply ITAM to support cost optimisation initiatives.
• Strong communication with Procurement, IT, and Finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Opportunity shaping, scoping & proposals.
• Lead discovery and qualification to confirm objectives and timelines.
• Produce customer-ready proposals, pricing inputs, SOWs, and documentation.
• Create and maintain reusable pre-sales collateral and templates.
• Collaborate with marketing, bid, and enablement teams to align offerings.
• Identify cross-sell or upsell opportunities with Sales and Delivery.
