Job summary

CODE D'AZUR in Amsterdam seeks a senior product/visual designer to elevate our AI-native design approach. You will own visual and motion craft, setting high standards and guiding strategy with the team.

You bring 6+ years of senior design experience, a portfolio showing classical design and real product depth, and fluency with AI prototyping tools and code-friendly workflows. You'll collaborate across strategy, design and development and shape client outcomes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a senior designer.
• Portfolio showing both classical design sensibility and real product depth.
• Working knowledge of motion design and its role in craft.
• Fluency with AI prototyping tools and the ability to work directly in code.
• Comfort with component-based design systems and Git-based workflows.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams and presenting to senior clients.

Responsibilities

• Own visual and motion craft on high-impact work: art direction, interface design, typography, motion, and craft details.
• Lead the transition to AI-native design with spec-driven workflows and scalable systems.
• Shape how the team adopts AI-native workflows across outputs and teams.
• Structure Figma libraries so designs are tokenized and machine-readable within a Git-based workflow.
• Prototype toward working artifacts, collaborating with developers when needed.
• Present direction to senior stakeholders and clients with clarity and conviction.
