Job summary

Hypersolid is seeking a senior product/visual designer in Amsterdam to elevate craft across visual and motion work. You will collaborate closely with product and design teams, pushing AI-native, spec-driven design while ensuring designs are tokenized and machine-readable within a Git-based workflow.

You bring 6+ years of experience, a portfolio blending classical design with product depth, and fluency in AI prototyping tools and motion design.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a senior product or visual designer, ideally in an agency context.
• A portfolio that demonstrates both classical design sensibility and real product depth.
• Working knowledge of motion design principles and their role in craft.
• Fluency with AI prototyping tools, with the ability to work directly in code rather than relying solely on prompts.
• Comfortable with component-based design systems and Git-based workflows.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams and presenting to senior clients.

Responsibilities

• Own visual and motion craft on the most important work: art direction, interface design, typography, motion, and fine details.
• Help transition to AI-native design with spec-driven design and development.
• Shape how the team adopts spec-driven, AI-native workflows.
• Structure Figma libraries to be tokenized and machine-readable within a Git-based workflow.
• Prototype to working artifacts, not just static mockups, and collaborate with coders.
• Present and articulate direction to senior stakeholders and clients with clarity and conviction.
