Job summary

AKQA Amsterdam is seeking a Senior Art Director to own ideas from concept through final expression, shaping craft across stories, identities, services and experiences. You will elevate work by guiding a multidisciplinary team and setting a high standard of visual storytelling.

You’ll lead with a strong point of view, collaborate across disciplines, and leverage tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite and AI to prototype and iterate ideas in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Strong ability to develop and defend creative concepts from brief to final execution.
• Excellent visual craft across typography, image-making and motion.
• Ability to lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams to elevate work.

Responsibilities

• Own the idea from first thought through final execution, protecting what makes it strong.
• Find compelling and unexpected angles into complex briefs.
