Job summary

Monks is seeking a hands-on maker to craft film and photography content with AI tools for premium advertising clients. You will fold assets into the studio's traditional production pipeline and collaborate with directors, designers, and animators to realize brand vision.

You’ll experiment with prompts, build workflows for lighting, composition, and styling, and stay ahead of AI trends to speed up production while maintaining craft.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in digital production — design studio, ad agency, or creative studio.
• Portfolio showing traditional visual craft, technical skill, and AI-integrated work.
• Proficiency with node-based workflows in Figma Weave and Runway.
• Working knowledge of Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, and Magnific/Krea.
• Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Premiere, and After Effects.
• High technical fluency and a fast ramp on new tools.

Responsibilities

Experience

• Strong foundation in film, photography, or digital design
• Portfolio showing traditional visual craft, technical skill, and AI-integrated work
• Proficiency with node-based workflows in Figma Weave and Runway
• Working knowledge of Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, and Magnific/Krea
• Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Premiere, and After Effects
• High technical fluency and a fast ramp on new tools
• Organized and able to self-manage on a fast-moving team
• Nice to have: video AI work with Runway, LUMA, or ComfyUI
• Nice to have: audio and voice AI with tools such as ElevenLabs
• Nice to have: creative problem-solving on tight deadlines
