Job summary

Varian, a Siemens Healthineers company, seeks a senior commercial leader to head the Radiation Therapy business in the Netherlands. You will drive growth, strengthen partnerships with hospitals and institutes, and align with local, regional and global teams.

You will shape the country strategy, lead tenders and negotiations, and guide a Dutch team while coordinating cross-functional efforts to improve access to innovative cancer care solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in medical technology or healthcare B2B environments.
• Strong track record in strategic sales, tenders, negotiations and long-term partnerships.
• Experience engaging with clinical, procurement and executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Varian Radiation Therapy business in the Netherlands, accountable for growth, customer satisfaction, market share and financial performance.
• Shape and execute the country strategy in collaboration with Siemens Healthineers Netherlands and regional Varian leadership.
• Build trusted senior-level relationships with hospitals, radiotherapy institutes, academic centres, procurement leaders, and key opinion leaders.
• Drive strategic opportunities, tenders, negotiations and account plans in a complex healthcare environment.
• Act as executive sponsor for key customers and major opportunities, ensuring strong cross-functional coordination across sales, service, marketing, project management and leadership teams.
• Lead selected international key accounts by aligning country teams and developing long-term partnership strategies.
• Coach and develop the Dutch team, fostering a collaborative, accountable, customer-focused culture.
• Foster strong collaboration across the Netherlands matrix organization and represent Varian Business area locally.
