Job summary

Qblox Bv in Delft is seeking a Quantum Application Scientist to bridge our quantum hardware and software with sales outcomes. You will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to develop compelling value propositions and provide expert technical support.

You will lead deep-dive technical discovery sessions, tailor demonstrations to customer needs, and communicate complex concepts clearly in professional English. Expect travel for global customer engagements and events.

Qualifications

• PhD in physics or equivalent with hands-on experimental quantum computing experience.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, able to engage with customers in technical discussions.
• Proven ability to lead technical discovery sessions and translate requirements into proposals.
• Fluency in professional English; willingness to travel for global engagements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical expert on quantum computing topics and demonstrations.
• Lead deep-dive technical discovery sessions with customers and support the sales team with proposals.
• Create and deliver live on-site product demonstrations for academic and industrial labs.
• Analyze customer needs and competitive landscape to guide product development and positioning.
• Represent Qblox at conferences, customer sites, and events worldwide.
