As our customer base expands to large buying groups in national labs, hyperscalers, and enterprises, we are seeking a pre-sales leader to coach our team and win strategic accounts across EMEA and APAC.

The Role

You will lead our Quantum Application Science pre-sales team in EMEA & APAC, partnering with Sales to scale a high-performing pre-sales engine, drive revenue, and convert customer needs into value-led technical solutions.

What you will do:

• Build & Scale Pre-Sales: Hire, coach, and retain top Quantum Application Scientists while driving performance standards.

• Value-Led Discovery: Shift from product demos to strategic solution design that translates complex capabilities into business value.

• Drive Revenue Operations: Partner with Sales on key account strategies, act as player-coach in Tier-1 deals, and run a disciplined MEDDPICC funnel review rhythm.

• Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with global teams, ensure seamless pre-to-post-sales handoffs, and relay field feedback to Product and R&D.

• Customer Sponsorship: Serve as senior sponsor for top accounts, build executive relationships, and represent Qblox at industry events.

What success looks like in Year One:

• Shift team execution toward value-based discovery and actionable technical win plans for strategic accounts.

• Deploy a sales-aligned pre-sales engagement model across EMEA & APAC with consistent MEDDPICC qualification.

• Increase technical win rates, PoC conversions, and maintain zero unwanted team attrition.

What you will bring

To truly excel and lead the charge in this role, we envision you'll bring the following background and expertise:

• 7+ years in technical pre-sales/solution architecture, with 4+ years leading pre-sales teams in enterprise environments

• proven expertise in value selling, MEDDPICC, structured deal reviews, and scaling pre-sales operations.

• Strong background in physics, engineering, or computer science (HPC, scientific software, or instrumentation preferred).

• Excellent executive presence, storytelling skills, fluent English, and willingness to travel ~30%.
