Qblox in Delft, Zuid-Holland, Netherlands is seeking a Quantum Application Scientist to bridge quantum hardware with commercial outcomes. The role requires deep quantum computing expertise and hands-on customer engagement.

You will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to demonstrate hardware/software solutions, run qubit experiments, and contribute to technical market analyses while travels globally.

Qualifications

• PhD in physics with hands-on experimental quantum computing experience.
• Experience building and testing quantum hardware (spin or superconducting qubits).
• Proficient in Python for data analysis and automation.
• Excellent written and spoken English with strong presentation skills.
• Interest in sales/marketing and engaging with customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead qubit experiments at field lab to validate hardware and software functions.
• Perform technical market analysis to align customer needs with product roadmaps.
• Represent Qblox at conferences and customer sites; travel globally.
