Job summary

Andaz Amsterdam Prinsengracht in Amsterdam is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to lead the team, uphold Hyatt luxury standards, and deliver personalised guest experiences. You will ensure rooms and public areas reflect the brand’s personality while collaborating with Front Office and Engineering to create seamless guest journeys.

The role requires leadership in a luxury hotel, strong English communication, and a flexible, proactive mindset to coach and develop colleagues for excellence in service.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of leadership experience in a luxury hotel setting.
• Strong operational housekeeping experience and capable of training staff.
• Excellent English communication; Dutch is a plus.
• Degree in Hospitality, Tourism or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Flexible schedule and strong organizational/admin skills.
• Passion for luxury hospitality and guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the team consistently delivers Hyatt service standards and the brand promise.
• Ensure guest rooms and public areas reflect the hotel’s luxury style and personality.
• Conduct room inspections, including VIP arrivals and stay-overs, to maintain quality.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Engineering and other departments for seamless guest journeys.
• Coordinate with Front Office on arrivals, VIPs, room moves and special requests.
• Lead team briefings and foster a culture of care, inclusion and excellence.
