At Anantara Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky Amsterdam, we seek an Assistant Housekeeping Executive to lead a team of ~100 professionals, ensuring rooms and public areas meet luxury standards. You’ll support the Housekeeping Manager, manage daily operations, stock, and quality control, and collaborate with suppliers while maintaining guest satisfaction.

With 1+ year in a supervisory housekeeping role, you’ll bring leadership, attention to detail, and strong English communication to our 4- or 5-star

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as Assistant Housekeeping Executive or Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Background in a 4 or 5-star hotel environment.
• A guest-focused, professional attitude with a positive and energetic approach.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate diverse teams.
• A sharp eye for detail and a drive for excellence.
• Calm and organized under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Knowledge of LQA standards and a commitment to delivering luxury service.

Responsibilities

• Leading, coaching, and motivating the housekeeping team.
• Managing daily operations and administrative tasks.
• Ensuring efficient stock and inventory control.
• Monitoring quality standards and hygiene compliance.
• Collaborating with external suppliers and service providers.
• Handling guest complaints with professionalism and empathy.
• Driving continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
• Understanding and working towards departmental goals (finance, quality, guest satisfaction).
• Ensuring compliance with LQA (Leading Quality Assurance) standards.
• Being physically active and present on the floor — not just behind a desk.
• Using tools like Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint for reporting and communication.
