Job summary

Phenomenex, part of the Danaher family, seeks an Account Manager to maintain and grow a dedicated Benelux territory. You will deliver advanced service and technical support to customers, covering the Netherlands and Flanders remotely and traveling as needed.

You will build strong relationships with key decision makers, coordinate product demonstrations, and work with the Sales Manager to craft business plans and strategies. Fluency in Dutch and English is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology or related science is required.
Ability to analyze, negotiate, and facilitate dialogue across groups to adopt new viewpoints.
Strategic planning and resource allocation to meet business needs.
Advanced knowledge of sales principles and identifying business opportunities.
Good knowledge of Chromatography.
Strong Dutch and English communication skills.

Responsibilities

Coordinate customer visits for technical information, product demonstrations, and seminars.
Build account relationships with key decision makers for new and existing customers.
Ensure territory meets sales, gross profit, and unit goals.
Develop business plans and sales strategies with the Sales Manager.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and coach/mentor colleagues.
